Blizzard Snow In Kings

THE PAS, MB - The Dauphin Kings out shot the Blizzard 40-38 Tuesday night but it was OCN winning the game on the scoreboard 7-3. 

Dauphin's start was ok in the opening period but the team found themselves down 2-1 after 20 minutes despite outshooting the Blizzard 15-9. Riese Gaber (3) had the Kings' lone goal. 

In the second it was more of the same as the Blizzard added two more goals while Riese Gaber (4) scored the only tally for Dauphin. 

Once again in the third period the Kings were only able to get one to the back of the OCN net while the Blizzard fired in three. Wilson Northey (1) scored for the Kings in the final frame. 

As mentioned the Kings out shot OCN 40-38. Matt Kustra took the loss in goal, stopping 31 shots. Dauphin scored one goal on the man advantage while the Blizzard had three. 

The Kings now get two days off before their next game which takes place on Friday in Steinbach against the Pistons. Opening face off is 7:30pm!
